Black Ops 7 Season 06 and script status: what to check around the Sep 17 launch
Call of Duty Season 06 was expected around Sep 17, 2026. How the eight BO7/Warzone Cronus Zen listings stood before it and what it means for RICOCHET.
Call of Duty Season 06 for Black Ops 7 and Warzone was expected around Sep 17, 2026, following Season 05 (Jul 23) and Season 05 Reloaded (Aug 20). Season launches are when RICOCHET updates have historically arrived, and the Season 02 update in February 2026 is where Activision announced detections aimed at Cronus Zen and XIM Matrix. Eight BO7 / Warzone listings existed on our Sep 2 check, none with a season label. All carry Enforcement risk and will keep it. This post is written from that check; product pages show later rechecks.
The policy first
Activision's Call of Duty Security and Enforcement Policy states that Cronus Zen and similar devices "are cheating tools, even if they masquerade as accessibility devices" and that hardware bans are non-appealable. The RICOCHET Season 02 blog describes new detections of machine-driven input behaviour aimed at those devices. The Verge reported the same detections alongside ReaSnow S1. No script update, in any season, changes any of that. Every Call of Duty product on this site is Enforcement risk.
Why a season launch matters twice
A Call of Duty season changes two things a script buyer cares about.
Game content. New weapons, weapon balance, movement tuning. Anti-recoil profiles are per weapon, so a season with new guns needs new tables, and a balance pass can invalidate old ones.
Anti-cheat. RICOCHET updates have shipped alongside seasons. Season 02's blog is the precedent that matters here: it is the post in which Activision described detections for the device class. If Season 06 carries a RICOCHET post, it is the most important document of the season for anyone using a Cronus Zen in Call of Duty, and it is a document from the publisher, not a vendor.
Where each script stood on Sep 2
| Script | Vendor | Price | Version / season shown | Where sold |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Recon | secretzens.com | $50 | none | On-site |
| Phantom Script | ClipZ Aim | $55 | none | On-site, Discord ticket |
| Inferno | FeatureZens | $64.99 | none | Shopify + dashboard code |
| Dead Eye | Vertex Zens | not shown | none | Whop widget |
| Eclipse V7.1 | Cronus Zen Master (via Cronus Zen Central) | library | V7.1 | Aggregator |
| Warzone V28 | Aux Scripts (via Cronus Zen Central) | library | V28 | Aggregator |
| Scripted Elite V4.1 | via Cronus Zen Central | library | V4.1 | Aggregator |
| D3TX BO7 / Warzone v1.4 | D3tx Services | Patreon tier | v1.4 | Patreon |
The library entries carry version strings, which is more than the creator storefronts show, but no dates. No listing named Season 05 or Season 05 Reloaded, so none was checkably current before Season 06 and none was checkably stale.
What each promise says
Recon, Inferno and Dead Eye's vendors use "lifetime updates" wording (Vertex Zens' shop policy: "No refunds. Lifetime updates."). Phantom's vendor uses "frequent updates". The library entries make no per-script promise on the pages we read; the library itself promises regular additions. D3TX is a Patreon, where the promise is implicit in the subscription.
None names a turnaround. For a season launch with new weapons, the useful question for a vendor is: how many days after Season 05 Reloaded did your last update ship? A vendor who can answer that has a track record; one who cannot has a slogan.
How to read vendor posts after Sep 17
A dated post naming Season 06 and listing changed weapon profiles. The vendor did the work. It says nothing about detection.
A dated post about RICOCHET. Read it critically. A vendor cannot know Activision's detection internals. Any claim that a script is safe against a named anti-cheat is a claim we would flag; on Sep 2 no vendor made one, and none claimed to be beyond detection.
Silence. Two weeks into a new season, silence from a vendor promising lifetime updates is a data point about the promise.
The aggregator entries
Eclipse V7.1, Warzone V28 and Scripted Elite V4.1 are reachable only through Cronus Zen Central's $15 or $25 monthly plans. A version bump on the library page (V7.2, V29, V4.2) would be the signal that a season update shipped, and it is the one kind of update signal this market actually publishes. We recheck those pages and record any change with a date.
What to do
- Read Activision's Season 06 post and any RICOCHET post that accompanies it. The publisher's words outrank every vendor's.
- If you own a Call of Duty script, find the vendor's most recent dated post and compare it with the season launch date.
- If you are shopping, ask for the date of the vendor's Season 06 note before paying. Then re-read point 1.
- Do not treat a price ($50 to $64.99, the same band as games with no public detection program) as a risk signal. There is no risk discount in this market.
Listing states in this post are from our Sep 2, 2026 check. Product pages carry every recheck since.
Frequently asked questions
When did Call of Duty Season 06 launch?
It was expected around Sep 17, 2026 but had not been officially announced on our Sep 2 check. Season 05 launched Jul 23 and Season 05 Reloaded on Aug 20. Check Activision's blog for the official date.
Do season launches change RICOCHET?
RICOCHET updates have historically accompanied seasons; the Season 02 blog in February 2026 is where Activision announced detections for Cronus Zen and XIM Matrix. Any Season 06 RICOCHET post is the thing to read.
Did any Call of Duty script vendor show a season label?
No. On Sep 2 none of the eight listings named Season 05 or Season 05 Reloaded. Only D3TX showed a version string (v1.4).
Does a Season 06 update change the enforcement risk?
No. Activision's policy says Cronus-class devices are cheating tools with non-appealable hardware bans. Every Call of Duty script keeps the Enforcement risk status.
