MLB The Show 26 Cronus Zen scripts compared: two listings, no visible prices
Dime (yewscripts.com) and Vertex MLB 26 are the only MLB The Show 26 scripts we found; neither shows a price outside checkout. What each lists.
MLB The Show 26 is the smallest priced market we track: two scripts, zero visible prices. Dime (yewscripts.com) lists Perfect Swing, Check Swing, PCI Assist, Perfect Throw, Auto Field and Auto Slide with weekly updates; Vertex MLB 26 (Vertex Zens) lists Perfect Pitch, PCI Assist, PCI Precision and on-release contact. Both prices sit inside checkout widgets, so both show "See vendor page" and neither enters our price math. Checked Sep 2, 2026.
Why this page exists with no prices
Our rule is simple: if a price is not readable in the page text, we do not record one, and the product is excluded from lowest-price calculations. Two products with no readable prices means an MLB The Show 26 catalog with two "See vendor page" labels and nothing to rank. We publish it anyway, because the feature lists are readable and comparable, and because the reason a buyer cannot compare prices from the page is itself information.
Which scripts exist?
| Script | Vendor | Price (Sep 2, 2026) | Checkout | Platforms |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dime | yewscripts.com | not shown | Whop | PS5, Xbox Series X/S |
| Vertex MLB 26 | Vertex Zens | not shown | Whop | not specified on grid |
Both vendors use Whop, and in both cases the price loads inside the widget rather than in the page. For yewscripts.com, whose NBA 2K scripts are $65 and whose Fortnite script is $50, Dime could plausibly be either; for Vertex Zens, whose one-time scripts were $35 (Apex Predator S29) and $45 (Green AI 2026), MLB 26 could plausibly be in that range. Those are guesses and we do not publish guesses as prices. Open the checkout.
What does Dime list?
As worded by the vendor:
- Perfect Swing (tunable Swing MS)
- Check Swing
- PCI Assist (PCI Power / PCI Zone)
- Perfect Throw, Auto Field, Auto Slide
- On-device timing profiles
- Weekly updates
That is a hitting, fielding and baserunning package with a timing model the user tunes in milliseconds. "On-device timing profiles" suggests settings switchable from the Zen's OLED without a PC, which is how the Cronus GamePack menu works. Dime is one of the products yewscripts.com documents in its guides section, so there is more written about it than the storefront alone.
What does Vertex MLB 26 list?
As worded by the vendor:
- Perfect Pitch
- PCI Assist
- PCI Precision
- On-release contact
That is a pitching-led package with PCI (plate coverage indicator) help for hitting. The list is shorter than Dime's and does not mention fielding, baserunning, timing profiles or an update cadence. Vertex Zens' shop policy is "No refunds. Lifetime updates."
How do they differ?
Dime reads as a hitting-first script with timing tuning and fielding automation; Vertex MLB 26 reads as pitching-first with PCI help. A player who wants Perfect Swing timing above all would start with Dime's list; one who wants pitching automation would start with Vertex's. Whether either delivers what the list says is not something we test.
What did we not see?
- Either price.
- A version number or dated changelog for either.
- The current MLB The Show 26 patch. We did not research MLB The Show patch history within our launch scope and the status board says so; when we add it, this page will link it.
- Any statement from Sony San Diego Studio naming Cronus-class devices. Neither script carries an enforcement flag. That describes what we found, not a safety judgement.
What a timing script needs from a patch
Both listings are, at heart, timing scripts: Perfect Swing and Perfect Pitch are about hitting a release or contact window in milliseconds, and PCI Assist is about positioning within a window. That makes them sensitive to two kinds of change. Game patches that alter swing timing, pitch speeds or the PCI model can move the windows; connection changes on the player's side (a different TV, a PS5 through Remote Play, a wired versus wireless controller) can move them too. Dime's "tunable Swing MS" and "on-device timing profiles" describe a way to adjust for the second kind; neither listing describes how the first kind is handled beyond the promise of updates. A dated changelog entry after each MLB The Show 26 title update is the evidence to ask for.
What to ask before buying
- The price. Both widgets will show it; neither page does.
- The last update date and which game patch it followed.
- For Dime, whether timing profiles need re-tuning after patches.
- For Vertex MLB 26, whether "lifetime updates" applies to this product and what the cadence has been.
- For either on PS5, whether the vendor has tested through the Zen LINK and PS Remote Play path, which is the only official PS5 route.
How this page changes
The moment either vendor renders a price in page text, or a reader sends us a checkout screenshot with a URL and a date, the product page updates and the MLB The Show 26 catalog gains a lowest price. Until then, two products, two feature lists, and an honest blank where the numbers go. Checked Sep 2, 2026.
