Where they agree

Both sell the same idea: a script you load and play, tuned for you rather than by you. Both promise weekly updates and both run through Whop. Both list PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Neither showed a version number or a dated changelog on Sep 2, and neither published a refund policy we could read. Neither carries an enforcement flag, because NBA 2K27 scripts do not.

Where they differ

Price. Hoops has two prices; Auto-Green has one (plus a conflicting tagline). At hoopers.gg's $50, Hoops is $5 under Auto-Green. At yewscripts.com's $65, it is $10 over. Which Hoops price you pay is up to you after reading the license line; the storefront comparison covers it.

Feature count. Hoops lists seven gameplay-related items and Auto-Green lists three. For a plug-and-play product a long list matters less than for a menu script, because you are not toggling anything, but the presets are a concrete difference: Hoops ships modes for MyCareer, Park, Rec and ProAm; Auto-Green's listing does not mention modes.

Strike-through. Hoops' storefronts show $90 and $100 struck through; Auto-Green shows nothing. We count plain pricing in Auto-Green's favour, while noting that its own homepage muddied the water with a "$35 once" tagline beside a $55 product blurb.

Update wording. yewscripts.com says weekly and that scripts last the 2K27 cycle unless paired with yewscripts+; hoopers.gg says lifetime; cronus.gg says weekly patch-day updates. Three phrasings, none with a version number. Auto-Green's is the most specific about trigger (patch day); yewscripts.com's is the most specific about duration.

What "plug-and-play" means in practice

Both vendors use the phrase, and it is worth being concrete about what it covers and what it does not. A plug-and-play script is one where the vendor has chosen the timing values for you, usually per build or per archetype, so that after loading the file into a memory slot you do not need to open an OLED menu and adjust shot-release milliseconds. It does not mean there is nothing to set up. Both scripts still require the Cronus Zen to be connected to the console in the normal way, the file to be programmed into a slot through Zen Studio or Zen Studio Live, and, for Hoops, a mode preset to be chosen for MyCareer, Park, Rec or ProAm. Auto-Green's "five minutes" is the vendor's estimate for that process.

The hidden cost of pre-tuned values is that they are the vendor's, not yours. If your connection latency differs from what the vendor assumed, a menu-driven script like Green lets you adjust; a plug-and-play script relies on the vendor shipping a re-tune. That is why the update cadence matters more for these two than for the menu scripts, and why "weekly" versus "patch-day" versus "lifetime" is not a cosmetic difference.

Setup on PS5

Both list PS5. On that console every Cronus Zen setup, for any script, runs through the $29.99 Zen LINK module and PS Remote Play, because Sony's January 2024 firmware broke the direct USB path and a July 2026 update was reported to block it again. Remote Play adds latency, and latency is exactly what a pre-tuned timing script has assumed away. Neither listing mentions PS5-specific tuning. If you are on PS5, ask both vendors whether their pre-tuned values were tested through the Zen LINK path before you decide between them.

The $35 question

cronus.gg's homepage carried "$35 once" while the Auto-Green blurb said "$55 one-time". If the checkout is $35, Auto-Green becomes the cheapest creator-sold 2K27 script by $15 and this comparison flips. We recorded the product-specific $55 and flagged the conflict. At $50 on hoopers.gg, Hoops is the better-value plug-and-play pick: $5 cheaper than Auto-Green with mode presets and a longer listed feature set, assuming the license line at checkout matches the yewscripts.com product. Auto-Green is the pick for a buyer who prefers a single storefront with no strike-through, wants the "24/7 Discord" promise, or confirms the $35 tagline at checkout. At yewscripts.com's $65, Auto-Green is $10 cheaper and the choice is presets versus price.
