How Whop checkout and licensing works for Cronus Zen scripts
Whop is the checkout behind at least ten vendors we track. What happens when you buy a script there, where the file and receipt live, and what to check.
Whop is the checkout and membership platform behind at least ten of the 25 vendors we track. You pay Whop, Whop creates a membership in your account, and the seller attaches a download, a Discord role or both to it. The receipt and the access are in one place, reviews are often store-wide rather than per product, and on several vendor sites the price only renders inside an embedded Whop widget. This is how the flow works and what to check at each step.
What Whop is
A platform where a seller lists a product, Whop processes the payment, and the buyer receives a "membership" for that product in their Whop account. The seller decides what the membership unlocks: file downloads, a role in a Discord server, a link, or a combination. Whop shows a store page per seller with reviews and, for some sellers, a verification badge. Vertex Zens' shop displays a Stripe-verified badge alongside its Whop checkout.
In the Cronus Zen market Whop is the default. yew.gg, yewscripts.com, hoopers.gg, auto-green.gg, cronus.gg, metas.gg, syna.gg, Vertex Zens, the cronuszenscripts store (Vulcan, Orion, Helios) and 365 Scripts all use it. FeatureZens (Shopify), secretzens.com and ClipZ Aim (on-site), CzenScripts (Shopify-style), Lethal Panda (Podia), D3tx (Patreon) and Cronus Zen Central (own subscription) do not.
The flow, step by step
- Find the product's Whop listing, either on whop.com directly or through the vendor's site. On yew.gg and yewscripts.com the buy button goes to Whop; on hoopers.gg, auto-green.gg and metas.gg a Whop checkout is embedded in the page.
- Read the price and the licence line in the Whop checkout, not the landing page. The checkout is where the binding text is, and on embedded-widget sites it is also the only place the price appears.
- Check the seller's Whop store page for a stated refund policy and for the review count. If the store page says "no refunds", that governs. If it says nothing, Whop's dispute process is the fallback and it is weak for delivered digital files.
- Pay. Whop charges the card; the vendor does not see card details.
- Open your Whop account. The membership appears with whatever the seller attached: a downloads tab, a "join Discord" button, or both. For yewscripts.com products this includes generator access; for the cronuszenscripts store it is a download plus community access.
- Keep the Whop receipt. Support for a Whop product runs through the membership regardless of which landing page you came from, and the receipt is the proof of purchase every dispute path starts with.
Embedded widgets and hidden prices
A vendor can embed the Whop checkout inside its own page. The result is a landing page with the vendor's copy and a payment form that loads from Whop. Two consequences for buyers:
- The price may not be in the page. hoopers.gg, auto-green.gg and metas.gg embed the checkout, and metas.gg's price never appears in page text. cronus.gg's Aimbot is the same. On this site those offers show "See vendor page". Open the widget.
- The landing-page copy and the checkout copy are different documents. hoopers.gg's page says "lifetime updates"; yewscripts.com's page for the same script says weekly updates through the 2K27 cycle. The Whop checkout's licence line is the one that binds.
Same store, several storefronts
One Whop seller can run many landing pages. hoopers.gg (Hoops at $50), auto-green.gg (Green at $50) and yewscripts.com (both at $65) route to checkouts from the same store family; metas.gg states it is a yewscripts product. The practical result is that reviews quoted on the landing pages are store-wide: "4.8 stars / 1,135 reviews" on yewscripts.com and "4.8 / 1,100+ users" on hoopers.gg are the same figure. A review count on a Whop landing page tells you about the seller, not the specific script.
It also means the $15 storefront gaps on Green and Hoops are a single seller pricing the same membership two ways. Compare the licence line on each checkout and buy the cheaper one if they match.
Licensing: what the membership is
A Whop membership is the licence. For a one-time script, it is a permanent membership with downloads and updates attached; for a subscription (Vertex Zens tiers, 365 Scripts), it renews monthly and access ends when it lapses. Whether the script file is watermarked per buyer (Vertex Zens says its .gpc files are) or tied to one Cronus Zen is the vendor's choice and is not a Whop feature; ask.
What Whop does provide is a single account where every script you own from every Whop seller sits, with receipts. If you buy three scripts from three Whop vendors, they are in one place. That is the platform's genuine advantage over site-plus-Discord-ticket delivery (ClipZ Aim) or dashboard codes (FeatureZens).
What Whop does not do
- It does not verify that the seller is the script's author. 365 Scripts sells a $14.99 monthly Discord on Whop that its listing says provides Glory, Yew, MVP and other creators' scripts; we could not verify authorization, and yew.gg states no redistribution source is authorized. The Whop listing exists regardless.
- It does not guarantee refunds. The seller's policy comes first.
- It does not show version numbers or update dates for the files attached to a membership. That is on the seller.
A short checklist
- Read the price and licence line in the Whop checkout, not the landing page.
- Read the seller's Whop store page for refund policy and review count.
- Note whether the store is the creator or a reseller.
- Pay, then confirm the membership shows the downloads or Discord you expected.
- Keep the receipt.

Frequently asked questions
Which Cronus Zen script vendors use Whop?
At least ten in our dataset: yew.gg, yewscripts.com, hoopers.gg, auto-green.gg, cronus.gg, metas.gg, syna.gg, Vertex Zens, the cronuszenscripts store and 365 Scripts, as of Sep 2, 2026.
What do I get after paying on Whop?
A membership in your Whop account for that product. The seller attaches downloads, a Discord role, or both to the membership. The receipt and the access live in the same place.
Why can't I see the price on some vendor sites?
Because the price loads inside an embedded Whop widget rather than the page. hoopers.gg, auto-green.gg, metas.gg and cronus.gg's Aimbot do this. Open the widget to see the number.
Are Whop reviews per product?
Often per store. yewscripts.com cites 4.8 stars from 1,135 reviews and hoopers.gg cites the same rating from "1,100+ users"; that is one store's figure quoted twice.
