Apex Legends Cronus Zen scripts compared

Apex Legends is a thin market for Cronus Zen scripts. On Sep 2, 2026 we found two standalone products: Predator from ClipZ Aim (marketed for Season 30, price only inside the checkout) and Apex Predator S29 from Vertex Zens at $35, which still carried a Season 29 label four weeks into Season 30. Neither carries an enforcement flag because we found no EA statement on Cronus-class devices for Apex.

What is the current Apex Legends state?

Season 30, "Marked", launched Aug 4, 2026 and runs until Nov 3. EA's patch notes list the removal of energy ammo, a Bloodhound rework and a World's Edge map update; the original Nintendo Switch version was dropped on the same day. Ranked runs in ladders: Ladder 4 from Sep 1 to 6, Ladder 5 from Sep 8 to 13.

For a script, energy ammo removal is the meaningful change. Recoil-control profiles are weapon-specific, and a season that deletes an ammo class removes the weapons that used it. A script whose listing was written for Season 29 may still run, but its recoil tables were built for a different weapon roster.

Which scripts exist?

Two products is the whole standalone market we could find. Subscription libraries are the other route: Cronus Zen Central's Basic ($15 a month) and Premium ($25 a month) tiers advertise 500+ and 1,050+ scripts across games, and Lethal Panda's Podia tiers ($25 to $120 a month) list Apex among covered titles. We could not enumerate the Apex packs inside either library from their public pages.

Why does a season label matter?

Vertex Zens named its product after the season: Apex Predator S29. That is useful for buyers because it is checkable. On Sep 2, Season 30 had been live for 29 days and the listing had not changed. Either the vendor has not updated the script or has not updated the page; from outside we cannot tell which, so the status is Awaiting update, not a failure verdict. The moment the page says S30 or "updated for Marked", the status flips.

ClipZ Aim's Predator listing is marketed for Season 30, which is the current season, so it carries an Updated status. Its price, though, sits inside a widget a text fetch cannot read, so the product page shows "See vendor page". Cronus Zen Central's library also lists a "Predator S30" entry, which suggests the Vertex Zens script has a Season 30 build somewhere even though the Vertex page had not caught up.

Is there an enforcement risk?

We looked for an EA or Respawn statement naming Cronus Zen, XIM or similar devices for Apex Legends and did not find one during this check. Apex scripts therefore do not carry the Enforcement risk flag. That is a description of what publishers have said publicly, not a claim that the device is permitted or undetected. EA's user agreement prohibits cheating in general terms, as every publisher's does. If EA publishes a device-specific statement, the flag changes and the status board will link it.

What does the free baseline offer?

Every Cronus Zen ships with more than 200 free GamePacks, and third-party guides name an "Apex Beam" pack among them, though we did not verify that name on an official list. Before paying $35, opening the Programmer panel in Zen Studio and reading the Apex GamePack's description is a reasonable first step; the official docs explain how at guide.cronus.support.

How to choose

1. If you want a checkable product, Apex Predator S29 is at least labelled, and $35 is the lowest one-time price for any game we track. Wait for the label to say S30 or ask the vendor in Discord.
2. If you want ClipZ Aim's Predator, open the checkout to see the price and ask for a dated Season 30 changelog before paying; the marketing says S30, and a changelog would confirm it.
3. If you play several games, a lifetime library plan (Cronus Zen Central Basic at $50 promo / $70, Vertex Zens Standard at $60) can cost about the same as one standalone script.
4. Do not expect a large Apex script market to appear. Two products at launch is the signal.
