By CronusMarket deskPublished Last updated 5 min read

CronusMarket launched on Sep 2, 2026 with 25 vendors, 55 products and 66 offers across 12 game catalogs plus a script-libraries catalog; 48 offers had a readable price. Creator scripts ran $35 to $65, reseller files $22, libraries $15 to $40 a month or $50 to $200 lifetime. We found two $15 same-script storefront gaps, 17 products with no readable price (nine of them widget-only checkouts, eight Discord or library entries), one published refund policy and zero vendors claiming their scripts are beyond detection. This post is that baseline and the list of what we set out to watch. The product pages hold what actually changed.

The $50 to $65 band held every creator script in every game with more than one vendor. No game showed a price war at launch.

The two gaps

Green: $65 on yewscripts.com, $50 on auto-green.gg. Hoops: $65 on yewscripts.com, $50 on hoopers.gg. Both single-product sites describe the same script as the catalog site with matching feature lists; the only wording difference we found was "lifetime updates" on hoopers.gg against "weekly" through the 2K27 cycle on yewscripts.com. These were the only two products with priced offers from more than one storefront, and they seeded the home page's price-gap board.

The status picture

Nine NBA 2K27 scripts claimed current support on Sep 2 (yew2K, Green, Hoops, Prime, Auto-Green, metas, Dynasty, Prodigy, Glory V7 via the library page). Six 2K products were still 2K26 builds (Swish, Syna2K, Green AI 2026, MVP V8, Champ V4, Jump At It V5). Apex had one Updated (Predator, unpriced) and one Awaiting update (Apex Predator S29, still labelled S29). Every Fortnite and Call of Duty product carried Enforcement risk on the strength of Epic's and Activision's public statements. Siege X, Rust, Arc Raiders, MLB, FC and Madden were Unknown throughout, because vendors named no version and we had not researched those games' patch schedules within launch scope.

What we set out to watch

  1. Sep 3, Fortnite v42.10. Whether any of seven Fortnite vendors posted a dated update; none showed a version on Sep 2.
  2. Sep 4, NBA 2K27 worldwide launch. Whether 2K27 prices moved with the full player base, and whether Syna2K's "coming soon" 2K27 build shipped.
  3. Sep 6, Cronus Zen Central promo expiry. Whether $50 lifetime became $70.
  4. Around Sep 17, Call of Duty Season 06. Whether any of eight listings gained a season label, and whether Activision published a RICOCHET update.
  5. The 17 unreadable prices. Whether any of the nine widget-only checkouts, or the eight Discord and library entries, surfaced a number.
  6. cronus.gg's $35 / $55 conflict. Which the checkout showed.
  7. ClipZ Aim's stale "Chapter 7 Season 3" label on Private.
  8. Oct 16, NBA 2K27 Season 2. Approaching, with a larger pre-season patch promised; the next event likely to test every 2K27 vendor's update promise at once.

This post does not report the outcomes. Each is recorded, dated, on the relevant product or vendor page as we recheck, and the public dataset at /api/status.json carries the current values. A recap that guessed at results would be worse than one that points to where they are.

What the month confirmed about the market

  • The storefront is most of the product. Whop dominates; the checkout, not the landing page, holds the binding price and licence text.
  • Update promises are cheap and undated. "Weekly", "patch-day", "lifetime" and "frequent" appeared; no vendor named a turnaround; no storefront showed a version.
  • Compare-at prices are decoration. $90, $100 and $450 strike-throughs were live simultaneously across the market.
  • Authorization is the open question for aggregators and resellers, and no creator's page settled it in either direction.
  • Nobody claimed to be beyond detection. That is the one claim we would flag on sight, and the market, to its credit, did not make it.

What comes next

More rechecks, especially around Oct 16. More vendor notes as refund policies and changelogs surface. Patch research for the games we could not cover at launch (MLB The Show 26, Rust Console, Arc Raiders, FC 26, Madden 26) so that Unknown can become Updated or Awaiting update.
